May 23rd - a quiet Sunday

May 13 - electrical and plumbing will be done by the end of the week.

May 12 - Electrical and plumbing has started.

May 8

May 8 ... Framing almost complete 

On May 8, we meet with the Electician, The Audio / Video installer / and the cabinet man.  Everyting is in synce as all those folks need to coordiante where the recepticals, speakers, connectors, routers, hubs coax cables, telephone cable and  for all the various electronics need to go.  John was here this weekend to do this.

At he moment the house looks "big for the street", but we went across the lake to tak a look and it blends in nicely.  But on the street it is big as the front enrtrance is quite tall.  One the windows are in and the stucco on, the front should blend in a well.

Next week these operations will start with the completed framing going on as well.  Windows are coming near the end of May, then the dry wall and we'll be able to "see" the end of the project.

May 5th and the framing is moving along...

May 3rd and the walls are going up.

Today they have put up a large beam and the walls to the golf cart garage, laundry room and John's office.

Framing has begun

You can see the wood on the ground. These are the exterior walls including the framing. The framing for the roof needs to also occur as there are support beams lthat need to be inplace for the walls to connect. Next week should be very exciting.
